Suzie Hatherill
BPsS, CTA, PG Dip, MA (Psych) UKCP Registered Psychotherapist
UKCP, BPsS Registered Psychotherapist & Supervisor
What I can help you with….
I am experienced to help you overcome anxiety and panic attacks, ‘low mood’, work or family stress and depression.
If you have suffered a bereavement or had a traumatic experience (even if it was a long time ago) and are having sleep disturbances, flashbacks, or perhaps still upset, angry, confused or scared – I will be able to help you deal with this so you can move on with your life positively.
I am registered as a qualified psychotherapist and routinely work with people medically diagnosed with depression, generalized anxiety and psychiatric diagnoses.
I am experienced in working with people who have experienced trauma – physical, emotional or sexual – either as an adult or when they were a child.
Most importantly…
I am trained to listen and gently ask questions that will help you discover how things can be positively different for you. My therapy room can also just be a place to be warmly accepted – no matter what you think, do or feel – and a much needed space ‘to be yourself’.
Call, text or email me…. Please click here for my contact details.
I am usually able to respond to emails or texts within twenty four hours.
Appointments…
I currently only have daytime appointments available. I can usually offer an initial session within a week or two. Sessions last for 50 minutes and are charged at £65. Payment can be made by bank transfer. The therapy process can sometimes take just a few weeks. Alternatively, longer term therapy may be the most helpful.
A bit about me….
I have worked in a range of healthcare, voluntary sector and education settings over the past twenty five years. My professional memberships reflect my training in cognitive, behavioural and social psychology, counselling, and clinical psychotherapy.
I currently undertake work for the NHS, a number of healthcare providers and insurance companies, including Aviva and AXXA Healthcare. Do check your policy to see if the cost of sessions can be covered in this way.
I work therapeutically in a relaxed, warm and professional way.
If you would like to know anything else before we meet – it’s fine to ask questions. I will respond to your text, call or email in confidence.
Warm wishes,
Suzie
